While most BitTorrent clients on the market come packet with a plethora of secondary functions, extra tools, and additional features that you will never need or actually get to use, Vuze Leap takes the opposite approach: it focuses on being straightforward, lightweight and easy-to-use, at the cost of including only the basic benefits. This actually makes a really interesting tool that deserves a go every time you need to use a BitTorrent clients only for a single file transfer job, or on rare occasions.

As expected, Vuze Leap is also extremely simple, which makes it suitable for beginners alike. Its interface makes it easy to search for specific file types, like books, videos, or audio files, before adding them to the download list. You can also add directly torrent links to be transferred to your computer. The download speed is remarkable as well.

Some basic settings are available: you can limit the download and upload speed, allow the data traffic to be performed only through a VPN, change the download folder, and more.

To sum it all up, Vuze Leap, the smaller brother of the famous Vuze file transfer utility, is still a great tool on its own, as it provides a specific set of characteristics that gravitate around simplicity of use and that many users will surely find very attractive.
